Voltigeurs : A term used by Black Snake Cultists to denote the leapers or Vaulters of the Paths on the ‘other side’ of the tree. - Kenneth Grant ‘Nightside of Eden’.

There have been points upon the path where there has been an inexplicable expansion of musical proficiency, philosophical comprehension and spiritual awareness; all of which have resulted in monumental leaps upon the path.

‘Teutoburg Forest - Voltigeurs’ is a re-mastering of three definitive songs which exemplify this ‘soul expansive’ experience, where the alignment of the intellect, body, emotion and energy sine waves align and produce a spark of clarity amidst the chaos of creativity. These flares ignited by the soul serve both to illuminate the path and also to remind us of its purpose whilst we traverse the unknown realms; thus exposing the shadow and becoming aware of ‘the Self’.

This track encapsulates the unconscious possession of the anima and the way in which stagnation and inertia caused by fear will rot the soul. This corruption of perception was reflected as spite. But Despite the disdain, the soul’s call to realign with a divine harmony pierced through the pain. and where there was once despair, now a direction.


‘Malkuth Transforms into Lilith’ taken from ‘Horns Curve into Broken Circles’ (2011):
Delving into the; spiritual, philosophical and psychological; literature, practice and lifestyle resulted in the once unconscious engagement with the anima, to become a conscious engagement. ‘Malkuth Transforms into Lilith’ is a literal invitation and calling for the shadow to enter into your existence. The conscious amalgamation of the unconscious provides the knowledge (via experience) to recognise ones own destructive capacity, becoming aware of the once unconscious raging fire to now refine and to serve a defined purpose under ones will.

As the ego dissolves part 2:
‘As the ego dissolves’ taken from the original trident demo ‘the Cult of the Individual’ and was the apex of the symbolic ‘death posture’ written and performed in one take to remove any sense of ego. From this thoughtless approach, the self was calling to consciousness to be recognised for what it was, echoing the initial insight from ‘Seeing Gods Creation and Despising it’

‘As the ego dissolves part 2’ consummates the frayed liminal concepts. Where ‘As the ego dissolves’ (part 1) was as a desperate unconscious call for the soul to be heard. ‘As the ego dissolves part 2’ is the exchange between the perceived and conscious self. By acknowledging, engaging and understanding the anima, it transmutes, leaping from naivety to comprehension and as the reflection evolves so does it opposite revealing the formula:
